Can I ask the DLSU clinic to process the approval of my laboratory requests and diagnostic procedure/s to be done in HMO accredited hospital or medical facility?

HSO can facilitate the approval of the laboratory tests and diagnostic procedure/s from the HMO if requested by the HMO-accredited physician and if these are out-patient tests and procedures.

The requests are accepted Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The member employee must ensure that the details of the doctor's request are complete, including the diagnosis.

The validity of the approved RCS2 (for laboratory & procedure) is only good for three days with Day 1 count on the day of approval, therefore HSO will not facilitate advanced requests for approval since this will be declined by HMO.

The member shall coordinate with the accredited medical facility for the schedule of the procedure. The confirmed date of procedure and the name of the medical facility where this will be conducted shall be provided to HSO.

Approval requests for procedures with OR set up requiring Philhealth can only be processed in the accredited hospital. HSO cannot facilitate this.
