How long does it take to request for a Food Entry Pass?
Food for personal consumption or to share with a small group may be brought to the campus without the need for a Food Entry Pass.
Food orders, trays, or platters good for a large group of (10 or more) persons or catering services by an external food service provider need to accomplish the Food Entry Pass. The request is ideally made a few hours in advance through the Freshservice Portal or upon entry to campus by filling in a form manually at the gate. The Food Entry Pass for this purpose does not require any approval.
Activities that involve food sampling, food distribution, and food selling on campus grounds require coordination with the University Safety Office and the Office of the AVC for Campus Services at least 2 days prior to the activity.
Bazaars on campus will require prior approval from the governing University Council under which the organizing group is under. A Coordination Meeting with key offices shall be held after approval and at least one (1) month from the scheduled activity. For more details, please refer to the General Guidelines on the Conduct of Bazaars.
