Are transferees allowed to apply for Graduate School programs?
Transfer applications are accepted and processed. There is, however, no assurance that all courses taken from a previous school will be credited. As mentioned in the DLSU - Manila Student Handbook:
18.9.1 Evaluation of transfer of credits is subject to the approval of the Associate Dean and the University Registrar, upon the recommendation of the Chair/Graduate Coordinator of the academic department.
18.9.2 A maximum of one-third (1/3) of the total number of academic units (excluding thesis/dissertation) required for the degree at DLSU may be accepted as transfer credits.
18.9.3 Courses taken from another school should be credited on the first term of studies at DLSU. No other courses taken from another school may be credited subsequent to this, unless covered by the issuance of a cross-enrollment permit from the Office of the University Registrar (OUR).
18.9.4 Courses counted to earn a separate degree, whether at DLSU or in another school, are not eligible for crediting.
